For this theme, look beyond simply documenting a bridge and consider how you can use it as a compositional element within your image. Explore leading lines, patterns, symmetry, light, shadow, reflections, and the relationship between the bridge and its surroundings. Consider photographing the entire structure, focusing on interesting details, or incorporating people to add scale and storytelling.

Think about the many ways bridges connect not only places, but also ideas, cultures, and experiences. Challenge yourself to find a fresh perspective and create images that reveal something unique about the bridge and its role within the landscape or urban environment.

TimeLine:
Fridays: 7:00 am PST Cut-off date for submitting an image. An Image Request email will be sent out to those that have opted to submit an image and have been selected.
Mondays: An email reminder is sent out to all registrants that have signed up thus far.
Tuesday Mornings: Registration closes and a secure link is sent out to all registrants an hour or two before the session.
*If you are a subscriber through PATREON, you do not need to register anew every week. A link will be emailed to you automatically every Tuesday morning. However, as a Patreon, if you wish to submit an image to be SHOWCASED, you will need to register in the form below.
